The Pass Plus scheme is designed to give new drivers valuable experience and help develop existing skills, learn new skills and techniques, improve anticipation and awareness, learn how to reduce the risk of being involved in an accident and maintaining a courteous and considerate attitude while on the road.
Why should I take Pass Plus lessons?
Even though you have passed your test and can now legally drive on the roads unaccompanied it is important to remember that you are an inexperienced new driver.
Statistics show that new drivers are around 10 times more likely to be involved in a car accident and around 20% of new drivers have an accident within their first year of driving.
With a Pass Plus Certificate you could reduce your car insurance premiums or get an extra years no claims bonus with some insurance companies.
How long it will take?
The pass plus course consists of 6 hours training, at the end of you training you will receive a certificate from the Driving standards agency.
